This Week Was An Assessment Week!!

This week the students took a sight word assessment, math assessment and writing assessment.  You have already received a note indicating your child's score on the sight word assessment.  The math and writing score will be sent home with the report card.  Report cards will be sent home on March 4.
You will also be receiving a form to fill out for parent teacher conferences.  Please send the form back as soon as possible so I can schedule your conference.

Next week, I will be sending home the new word list and book in the bag.  We will also celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday which is on March 2. Students will be asked to wear their pjs to school and we will have green  eggs and ham for snack.   For the week of  March 7-11, every day we will do something special to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday.  A note will be sent home next week  so you know how to prepare your child each day for our celebration.

You also received a clover project to do with your children.  I am looking forward to seeing all the clovers and what lucky things your child put on their clover.  All clovers are due March 4.   Unfortunately I will not be in school on March 4.  I must attend another workshop at the Government Center.

We learned about taking care of our teeth!!

We made a picture of ourselves and added teeth.
