 Thank you very much for your very generous gift you gave me for the holiday.  I truly appreciate it. It was so thoughtful of you.  I am so lucky to work with such wonderful children and their parents.  I hope you and your family have a wonderful Holiday and a Happy and Healthy New Year!!!

I am so sorry that I missed The Polar Express Day!! I feel so bad about that!! I have a terrible sinus infection with fever and no voice.  All I did all day was think about the children and what I was missing.
I will make it up to them when we get back we will have a pj day with hot chocolate and treats. I also missed Gianna's birthday!! Happy Birthday Gianna!!!
Thank you once again for everything and being so wonderful! Each year I am so lucky to work with such awesome children and their parents.

Highlights of the Week!!

A big THANK YOU to all the parents that donated candy, frosting and supplies for our Christmas tree making event!! We had an AWESOME time!!

In Reading this week, we continue to work on our sight word list.  We also know all the letter sounds A-P. We continue to work in our reading groups encoding words.

In math, we learned two new math games.  The growing and disappearing train game and pocket math.
We had fun playing both games.  We also rolled the dice and we played a reindeer game and gingerbread math game.

For the Holidays… we made our beautiful door… we made candy canes and cookies for santa.  We also made hot chocolate for him.  I love the  Gingerbread man.. they came out so cute. We also learned about different holidays and we made a menorah, kinara and a Christmas tree.


Next Week: Tuesday is our Holiday Party.. We will have pizza, juice, potato chips and we will make ice cream cones for dessert. If you did not send in you money for the pizza please do!! Thank you!!

Wednesday Polar Express Day: Please wear your pjs to school.  We will be having hot chocolate and cookies for a treat after we watch the movie.  We will also get a little gift after the movie.  We will also celebrate Gianna's birthday with cupcakes.

Polar Express Day!!

On December 23, we will be celebrating a Polar Express Day with the entire kindergarten.  The children are asked to wear pjs to school.  We will be watching the movie and then having hot chocolate and cookies. You will be receiving a letter home soon about the event!!

Some Important Notes!!!

We are in need of glue bottles and glue sticks!! Any donations are greatly appreciated. We are also in need of baby wipes. Thank you for all your donations…


Upcoming Events:

 December 18… Making Christmas trees.. please call Mrs. Krellenstein with your donation for the event!!   Also each child is in need of a can of frosting!! Please have all frosting in by December 15th. Thank you!

December 22: ….Pizza party… a  note will be coming home soon explaining the party. 

December 23: Half a day dismissal. Celebration of Gianna's birthday!!
