Today you received a few letters home regarding our Thanksgiving feast. Please look over the feast items and let our homeroom moms know if you can donate any of the items on the list. You also received an invitation to the feast. Please RSVP as soon as possible so we are able to calculate how much food we will need.

Help Tom Turkey Hide So He doesn't Become Thanksgiving Dinner!!!!
Each child brought home a turkey today to decorate!!
Please have fun decorating your turkey and making a special disguise for it. Remember Tom Turkey does not want to be eaten on Thanksgiving!! Please help him by disguising him so he does not become Thanksgiving dinner. All turkeys are due on Friday!! Have fun!!!
Today we continued to learn about non- fiction text features. We had fun picking out bold print in the text. We also worked in our reading groups on initial and final consonant sounds in words. In math, we continued to practice recognizing teen numbers.
We prepared for our Veterans' Day Celebration by making hats, flags and cards for our Veterans.
Tomorrow we will have pictures of us on our blog celebrating Veterans' Day.
